About us...
William D. Lacy
founded BDK
Computer
Services in
February of
1996. His vision
was to create a
service oriented
computer company
specializing in
networking and
computer systems
sales and
support.
Problem...
The motivating
factor in
starting the
company was the
lack of personal
involvement with
customers so
common in the
computer
industry.
Today's
technology has
built a large
wall between the
consumer
(corporate or
individuals)
buying computer
products and the
companies that
sell them. Most
often, your
sales person is
a pool of
telephone
customer service
agents and your
support comes
from a telephone
support hotline,
equally as
faceless. This,
in turn, creates
a desperate
consumer left to
deal with the
problem of
finding someone
to represent or
hold accountable
for the products
they have
purchased. With
all the massive
volumes of
ordering
computer
equipment
through the Web
or using a 1-800
number, the
closest thing to
a representative
of the computer
company that the
consumer meets
is a person in a
brown suit
driving a brown
van.
Solution...
The solution to
the problem is
simple, provide
and maintain a
one-on-one
relationship
with your
clients. If you
know them then
you can more
easily know
their needs. And
you cannot know
their needs
sitting behind a
desk and never
meeting
face-to-face
with the client.
Success...
Although BDK
Computer
Services is a
small company,
they are
committed to
offering a
personal touch
to the industry
for anyone that
still thinks
that is
important. So
far, our
customers have
voiced their
opinion and made
their choice.
BDK and William
Lacy wish to
thank all who
have helped in
their success.
